Moved to a new server

Just want to let you guys know I have moved bitfreak.info over to a new server. Hopefully it runs a bit smoother but if you notice any problems that weren't there before let me know. In case you're wondering our new web host is hosterbox.com, a Canadian based company. They are pretty cool because th...

Re: New Products section

I still think the product creation times aren't being saved into the database properly. Run the following queries on your BitShop database to make sure the necessary triggers are created: DROP TRIGGER IF EXISTS Products_OnInsert; CREATE TRIGGER Products_OnInsert BEFORE INSERT ON `Products` FOR EACH ...

Re: Cant get it run proberly

I will probably need temporary ftp access to your website to figure out the problem. Is there any specific error you are receiving? At what stage exactly does the default gateway stop working?

Re: Allow to select more than one categorie

I'll think about it and see how hard it would be to implement. I think it will require some database changes so probably wont be too easy.

Yeah you are right, I will add a few more drop down lists to the next version of BitShop to make it a bit more user friendly.

Re: Security bug

I assume you are talking about the file upload in the admin area? If a smart attacker gets access to the admin area you a pretty much screwed either way. If I were to limit the types of files that could be uploaded, the attacker could just edit one of the pages and write their own upload code. If I ...

Re: Cant get it run proberly

If the ticker price isn't changing then you probably haven't set up the cronjob properly. As for tor support, the script was never really designed to run as a hidden service so it might be a bit tricky to make it work, but I've heard of a few people getting it set up as a hidden service. I honestly ...

Re: New Products section

What version of BitShop are you using? Just tried on the latest version of BitShop and it seems to display newest products properly. Sounds like maybe the product creation times are not getting saved into your database properly. I'll probably need to take a closer look, for a start what is your doma...

Common Problems and FAQ

I need some help installing BitShop Read the install.txt file inside the install folder and also take a look at the BitShop installation tutorial video if you haven't already. Keep in mind that new versions of BitShop are released regularly and the tutorial may be slightly out of date by the time y...

The situation with BitShop modifications

Over the past few years since I first created BitShop I have had at least two dozen people ask me if I could do a custom modification to BitShop. Some times the requested mods are small but most of the time they need something large such as auction or classifieds functionality. My standard response ...
